two cloves garlic, cut;
one-half medium onion, sliced;
two 28 oz. cans crushed tomatoes;
one tbls. dried oregano;
one-half tsp. basil.Â Pasta, preferrably
100% durum semolina pasta.
In a medium pot, cook onions in olive oil;
adding garlic; lightly brown garlic cloves.
Add crushed tomatoes and other ingredients.
Cook slowly, adding water if thick, forÂ one-
three hours.Â Pour over boiled pasta after
draining pasta of most water.
(Two bottles Prego sauce may be sutstituted).
